The big day may have come and gone, but keep in touch as we’re always up to something new and exciting.
My creative process is rooted in experimentation and responsiveness. Allowing each piece to evolve organically as I interact with the materials whether it be paint, pencil, ink, or clay. I like to allow the process itself to influence the final outcome of my pieces allowing my viewers to see the layering, movement, and texture of my work. Each material brings its own energy–paint is fluid and expressive, ink is permanent and bold, clay is tactile and grounding, and when combined together can provide a very visually intriguing work of art.

Jessica Jaime is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice explores the dialogue between material and emotion. Having studied art under private instruction since the age of eight, she has developed a process rooted in experimentation and responsiveness.
Her work embraces fluidity, layering, and texture creating pieces that invite viewers to witness the visible and invisible traces of creation.
Jess is currently receiving a BFA from Southwestern University in Georgetown, TX.
